A NYC Thanksgiving
FALL 2025
An intimate Thanksgiving dinner for friends who stayed in New York City for the holiday. My intention was to create something cozy and familiar. An evening designed to distract us from missing our usual Thanksgivings at home.
With limited tableware in my apartment, I challenged myself to reuse pieces from the Summer Farmers’ Market Lunch and reinterpret them for a darker, evening tablescape. I prepped floral arrangements and garlands to carry the theme beyond the table and into the space. Autumnal details like velvet bows and seasonal produce helped set the tone.
The table became an edible tablescape with sugared cranberries, seasonal fruits, candied sliced pears, and uniquely fall themed charcuterie cheeses, crackers, and meats like duck prosciutto and gingerbread crackers.
